Meet Dr Lekic
Zoran Lekic M.D. is a specialist in general, plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery and subspecialist in hair transplantation and laser aesthetic surgery.
Dr Zoran Lekic graduated at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, in 1985, and immediately joined the First Surgical Clinic in Belgrade, where he began his specialization in general surgery. He passed the specialist exam in general surgery in 1991, and subsequently pursued a specialization in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, and soon passed the specialist exam in this field.
THE POSITIONS
1985-1986
- From 1985 until 1986, Dr. Lekic worked at the General Surgery Department of the First Surgical Clinic in Belgrade.
1986
- In 1986 he served as a medical doctor in the Yugoslav National Army (JNA), which was a mandatory military service at the time.
1987
- Subsequently, in 1987 he joined the newly formed Emergency Surgery Center at the Clinical Center of Serbia, where he performed numerous surgical interventions, including general, plastic, reconstructive, aesthetic, vascular, thoracic and urological surgery, as well as traumatology and orthopedic surgery.
1991-1994
- He gained a significant experience in the period from 1991 to 1994 during the war in the former Yugoslavia, because he treated a large number of wounded patients who were admitted to the Center.
1994
- Since 1994 he started private medical practice, and at the same time he was working on the completion of the specialization in the fields of plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at the Clinic for Plastic Surgery and Burns within the Clinical Center of Serbia.
1994-PRESENT
- Since 1999, Dr. Lekic pursued only private practice.
