METHODS
In our hospital we are using operative technique of short, vertical cut because there are a lot of advantages: the best aesthetic result, fast recovery, relatively simple operation technique, lasts shorter than classic operative techniques and there is low complication risk and also this technique has the best aesthetic result because it leaves the smallest scar on the breasts. With operative technique of short vertical cut, the scar is on the nipple which by time becomes invisible.
In regard to the classic methods, the method of short vertical scar gives much better protection and corpulent breasts. At the same time, with this operation we can decrease the volume of the breasts.
ANESTHESIA
We perform the operation under general anesthesia so the patient sleeps during the operation and does not feel any pain. The operation lasts for about three hours.
RECOVERY
Recovery after operation lasts from 14 days to 3 weeks. Ten days after the operation, the files are removed, and 14 days after the operation, the patient can continue with her activities.
